Busted that stupid plateau and made plenty of progress during it. It’s almost June again! I stuck with it, challenging as it is. 7 more pounds to go til I hit 90 lost!

My name is Lauren and I am a blogging virgin. I thought that I would take this leap into the big wide world of blogging as something of a new challenge, and for those of you who know me know that I love a challenge!
So my name is Lauren and I have lost a bit of weight. 147lbs to be precise and I have maintained this for 5 years. 3 years ago I had a tummy tuck where they removed 7lbs of excess skin.
I started my weight loss journey a whopping 8 years ago and at the same time I started a little YouTube channel. I really didn’t think that it would ever amount to anything much… Boy did I prove myself wrong.
In all honesty I didn’t believe that I would amount to much and who would want to watch me fail…?So why am I writing a blog you may be asking?
Well over my 8 year life changing journey I have acquired a bit of knowledge and I thought that a blog would be a perfect platform to share my stories, tips, inspiration and help with you!!
What do you think?

#transformationtuesday - The outside has changed a lot, but the most beautiful and unexpected transformation is the one that can’t be seen or gauged by # of lbs lost. It’s in every new personal time record on the elliptical, every mile on the treadmill, every added rep, every time I can run up the stairs to my apartment and not be out of breath, every time I make the right food choice because of how it makes me feel. It’s in going from addiction and self loathing to balance and determination. It’s in pushing forward, even though your worst enemy is yourself. It’s about being on a journey that doesn’t end when scale reads ‘goal’ weight or the day you put those size 6 pants on. It’s about trying to love yourself, even though it’s never easy (even though you still see someone much larger in the mirror, even though you still fail on a daily basis). Here’s to transformations, big AND small. Here’s to all of us who are doing our best to never stop trying. ❤️
A year ago today I made the decision to life a healthier life. Now 12 months and 50 lbs later I’m more comfortable in my own skin. Although I haven’t been to the gym since May, I’ve somehow only gained 4 lbs. so that’s a plus. I’m still not where I want to be but I’m in a good place. (at The University of Alabama)

This journey has had it’s ups and downs and I’m still not at my goal, this past week was terrible and I binged all week. I wanted to share that with you because we all make mistakes none of us are perfect however the most important lesson I’ve learned in this journey is NEVER give up, so I had a binge week it was awful and I feel terrible about myself I’ve put on roughly 4-7lbs I’m not sure because it’s that time of the months and I’m also bloated and I haven’t been drinking my usual gallon of water a day, but let me tell you something it IS possible, you CAN do this you just have to start. If you fall down seven times stand up eight don’t like a bad day, bad week, bad month get to you and all the hard work you’ve put in. Starting tomorrow I’m going full force HARD I am going to do this for MYSELF! Much love to all of you and I am so grateful to have your kind words of encouragement, they mean so much to me and help keep me motivated. ❤️
